The Daavlin SL3000 incorporates a high intensity UVA1 lamp and proprietary filtering to achieve pure UVA1. The SL 3000’s motorized lift allows for vertical positioning of the lamp over a 53” (135 cm) span and 240 degree lamp rotation makes the delivery of localized, high intensity UVA1 convenient and comfortable. A 3000 watt metal halide lamp with proprietary filtering generates a high output stream of pure UVA1. At 70 to 90 mw/cm2, the device emits 4 to 5 times the output of UVA1 fluorescent UVA1 lamps. A UVA1 specific meter is included for power output measurements and ensures the accuracy of the delivered dose.
Daavlin’s proprietary UVA1 filtering system ensures a spectral output that is limited to the UVA1 range and allows medium and high dose protocols without the concern of UVB induced erythema.
A ventilation fan keeps the patient comfortable while another fan ensures that the lamp operates at the optimum temperature for maximum output and lamp life.
A digital time control system is easy to use and reliable. A motorized lift makes moving the lamp up and down convenient and easy.
