cutting edge technology! The slim design of the 7 Series line offers a variety of lamp quantities, optional double doors and a choice of control systems.
Phototherapy is safe for most patients, including those who are pregnant, elderly or immuno-compromised. Protective grid prevents accidental contact with the lamps, and UV blocking eyewear is provided.
Daavlin’s home phototherapy units are reasonably priced, frequently covered by insurance and our free insurance processing program does the work for you!
Ultraviolet Lamps
Lamp configurations are available in Narrow Band UVB or UVA and in quantities of 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 lamps per panel. This provides your prescribing physician a complete range of therapeutic options. Keep in mind, having more lamps per panel will increase the output of the device and give you a shorter treatment time!
Slim Design
The slim lines of the 7 Series make it the perfect fit for smaller offices or home use. With or without side-panel doors, full body treatment can be accomplished in just about one square foot of floor space. 7 Series units can also hang on a wall with the purchase of optional wall brackets.
Dosimeter Accuracy
The Dosimetery controller is a special UV sensor built in to measure the intensity of the light. This sensor adjusts the treatment time to compensate for any variation in output due to aging of the lamps or other factors. This system affords the most accurate delivery of ultraviolet light therapy available in a home phototherapy unit. Treatments are programmed in a few simple keystrokes. One touch operation allows you to conveniently begin, pause or resume any treatment.
Timer Simplicity
The simpler Flex Digital Timer control option allows treatments to be entered in units of time as prescribed by the physician. The state-of-the-art digital timer provides treatment duration accuracy.
Safety Lock-Out
A programmable lock-out feature prevents unauthorized use, which is particularly important when children are present. When activated, the user must enter a code to operate the unit. Home phototherapy must be prescribed by a qualified physician, but Daavlin’s home units are frequently insurance reimbursable.
Optional Side-Panel Doors
Our 8, 10 and 12 lamp 7 Series units always include doors in order to provide additional space to house the larger number of lamps. However, on the 4 and 6 lamp units, these doors are optional. Rather than housing lamps, they provide reflective panels to direct the light inward during treatments. These will also allow you to close the unit, keeping it safe and discreet when not in use.

The most basic model 7 Series, our economical 4 lamp unit without doors saves on space and can even hang on a wall.
Adding reflective doors to the 7 Series allows you to protect the lamps when not in use.
Increase your output in the same amount of space by increasing the number of lamps.
Reflective doors not only protect the lamps, but aid in directing light during treatment.
By adding lamps to the doors, patients can achieve a “wrap-around” effect.
This “wrap-around” effect allows patients to treat their entire body with just two exposures.
The more lamps that are used, the higher the UV output of the device will be, resulting in faster treatment times.
IMPORTANT: Prior to purchase or electrical modification of your location. Confirm with Daavlin that you have the correct electrical specification for your particular unit and country.
